Privacy Policy

Local Photo Restore is designed to process photographs on your device. Your photos are not uploaded.

Information we collect

Local Photo Restore processes photos on your device, without an account, advertising SDK, or photo-processing server. We use RevenueCat for purchase reporting and onboarding analytics. RevenueCat receives a random app identifier, purchase information, onboarding variant, pages reached, last activity and completion status, paywall views, and basic app and device information. Your photographs and editing activity are never sent to RevenueCat. We do not use this information for advertising tracking.

Photos and camera

When you choose or photograph an image, the app processes it locally on your device. Your selected photographs and restored results are not uploaded to the developer or a third party. Photos and camera permissions are used only for the actions you request.

When you save a result, Local Photo Restore creates a new image and does not overwrite the original.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not receive your payment-card details. The current version includes all restoration tools and saving without a separate feature unlock.

Local preferences

The app may store preferences and entitlement-related state on your device. Photo editing preferences stay on your device. Coarse onboarding progress is shared with RevenueCat as described above.

Optional website analytics

Updated September 25, 2026. This section applies to the marketing website. If you choose “Allow analytics,” we load Google Analytics to measure website visits and App Store link clicks. Google receives page paths, referring website names, campaign labels, browser and device information, and network information needed to receive the request. Analytics cookies may be stored in your browser. We disable advertising signals and personalization.

Google Analytics is not loaded before you opt in. “No thanks” keeps it off. Use “Website analytics choices” at the bottom of the page to change your choice. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. This website measurement does not access the app, its content, or your photographs. App Store link clicks do not tell us whether you installed or purchased the app.

Children

Local Photo Restore does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated.
